Your design goes out as a print-ready file at the right resolution for the size, together with a spec sheet listing the material, bleed and finishing — so a shop can price it without a single follow-up question.
Most online design tools give you an abstract canvas and work out the print size afterwards. That is backwards, and it is why artwork so often arrives at the wrong proportions or too low a resolution to enlarge.
Here the canvas is the finished piece. Text sized at 6 inches is 6 inches on the banner. A logo dropped in is checked against the size you place it at and the distance it will be read from, so you find out immediately if it will look soft — not after it is printed. And the file exports at the resolution that size and distance actually need, which is usually far less than 300 DPI and far more usable as a result.
